Maintenance is easy 

Shampoo without rubbing once or twice a week with lukewarm water.
Then apply a conditioner or mask and leave to rest.
Rinse with lukewarm water, then remove excess water by dabbing with a towel. Avoid blow-drying and favor air-drying.
